Free, and honest about it
Everything that runs on your own computer is free, with no quotas. Paid plans start after the beta and add things that need a server. They are announced at least 30 days ahead.
What's inside
33 kinds of project (Writing, Study, Translation, Bookkeeping, Music scores, Photos, Podcast and more), each with helper tools that check the result. Power Buttons: one click runs a saved prompt on what you copied, from a hotkey, a launcher or the command line. Autopilot Cruise flies a whole task from one goal; AutoCognition lets your agents help each other. Ask your own documents and books, read scanned PDFs, translate, transcribe, make pictures and sound, all on your machine. It runs in its own window, not a browser tab (and can start without Apache, using its own small web server), with 36 themes and many interface languages, right-to-left ones included.
Honest limits. Music transcription follows a single melodic line, not a full mix. Web research (Dossier) is paused because public search engines increasingly refuse automated queries. The AI sites that Cockpit can drive through their own pages ("Labs") can break when a site changes. Cockpit is built and tested by one person, and the changelog says what changed in every build.
