Paste your notes, get candidate flashcards, fix them up, export for a flashcard app, and build ready-to-paste prompts for any AI chat. Everything happens in this page; your notes are not sent anywhere.

1. Your notes

Recognised patterns: Term: definition, Term - definition, Term = definition; a heading (a # line, or a line ending in a colon) followed by bullets becomes one card listing the bullets (or one card per bullet if they are themselves term: definition lines); **bold** and {{c1::hidden}} become fill-in-the-blank cards; Q: then A: lines. Other sentences are skipped and counted.

2. Edit the cards

FrontBack

3. Export

Both files are UTF-8. CSV uses commas with quoted fields; TSV uses tabs (tabs inside a card become spaces). Most flashcard apps have an import for one or both: choose "Front" and "Back" as the first two columns when asked.

4. Prompts for an AI chat

The prompt includes your notes, so paste it into the chat you trust with them.

5. Leitner box schedule

DayDateReview boxes

How it works: all new cards start in box 1. A card you get right moves up one box; a card you get wrong goes back to box 1. Box k is reviewed on days that are a multiple of its interval, so the box you know best is seen least often.
